The Automation Product Sales Manager (PSM) will join the Systems group, a subsidiary of, a world leading CNC machine tool technology provider. The PSM needs to fully understand our automation solutions of and be able to make conceptual solutions based on customer’s needs.

Collect necessary information from customers and relay it to designers, who will create detailed designs.
Identify and build up customer relationships and sales opportunities via multiple sales channels.
Manage, develop and expand a sales territory of existing customers.
Develop and follow a territory sales plan that aligns with sales goals.
Identify and report accurate customer requirements and potential needs.
Work with sales support team to prepare budgetary/official quotations and write automation system proposals.
Present project proposals to customers and work with distributors to win orders.
Closely work with assigned project manager when order is received.
Prepare project delivery, run off, and acceptance document.
Become very knowledgeable on assigned system category and customers.
Capable to handle AutoCAD and other software for project proposals.
Technical ability to write system specifications and reports.
Work independently without daily supervision but remain responsive to management request.
Travel throughout the assigned territory (overnight travel if necessary).
Other duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering related field.
Familiar with CNC machine tools, robotics, and automation cells.
Rich experience in machine tool/manufacturing automation integration.
Knowledge on equipment safety regulation is a plus.
Strong communication skills including presentation of project proposals.
General office environment will be experienced. There will be periodic exposure to manufacturing environments which may present possible hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.
Frequent: standing, sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones.
Periodic: walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.
Occasional: repetitive foot, leg, hand, arm, shoulder, and torso movements
