ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
1.   Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety.
 
2.   Maintain clean, orderly and safe work area at all times.
 
3.   Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
4.   Safety glasses are required with side shields whenever on shop floor.
 
      5.   Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with regulations.
     
      6.   Must know and understand how to perform a pre-shift equipment inspection/log.
 
      7.   Must pass written and hands on test prior to receiving his/her forklift license.
 
      8.   Must understand the proper way of securing material to pallets prior to loading for transportation                                                                            
     {banding or shrink wrap}.
 
9.  Have the ability to move pallets with/without parts from point “A” to point “B” safely.
 
10. Use the “Vantage” system to assist in part destinations or next operations.
 
11. Stack pallets, parts or bins onto storage racks safely.
 
12. Authorization to operate any fork truck with a 5,000 lbs. lifting capacity.
     {Not to exceed 5,000 lbs. until operator endorsed as Level III Operator}
 
13. Maintain equipment and ensure it is cleaned regularly.
 
14. Operator must be able to perform all Level l Operator functions.
 
15. Ability to load/unload all Vans or Flatbed trailers not to exceed 10,000 lbs.
 
16. Ability to communicate with all incoming or outgoing truck drivers.
 
17. Warehouse knowledge, understanding of basic warehousing and utilization of minimal floor space.
 
 
18. Loading/unloading of plates or tubing not to exceed 12 ft. in length or 10,000 lbs.
 
19. Authorization to operate any fork lifts with a 10,000 lbs. lifting capacity {not to exceed 10,000 lbs. until       operator is endorsed as a Level lll Operator}.
